Custom Embroidery and Embroidered Clothing
teeone embroiders company logos, club and team crests, staff names, initials, short text and organisation branding directly onto quality garments from leading clothing brands. Embroidery gives a professional, textured and durable finish that suits workwear, uniforms and team clothing especially well.
Not every design suits every garment. Suitability depends on the garment itself, the decoration area you choose, your artwork, and the size and detail of the design — you'll see what's possible for each product before you order.
The Expert Service is currently £9.50 + VAT per order, and is included free when your qualifying order subtotal reaches £200.00.

Leading clothing brands: Embroider onto polos, fleeces, jackets, hoodies, caps and workwear from trusted brands.
UK-based support: Real people in the UK check and produce your order, and are on hand if you need help.
What is garment embroidery?
Garment embroidery uses coloured thread to stitch a design directly onto — and into — a suitable garment or textile item. The result is a raised, textured decoration that's ideal for logos, crests, names and short text, which is why it's the standard choice for professional uniforms and workwear.
Before anything is stitched, your artwork has to be converted into an embroidery-ready stitch file. Thread behaves differently from ink: tiny details, gradients, shadows and very small lettering may need to be simplified, and the finished result won't always reproduce your artwork in exactly the same way as a digital print. The garment's fabric and construction also affect how the stitching sits.
Embroidery isn't automatically better than printing — it's a different process with different strengths. If your artwork contains photographic detail, gradients, very fine detail or large full-colour illustrations, a digital print is usually the better route.
Choose how you want to personalise your clothing — Design It Yourself
Pick an embroidery-compatible product, select the garment colour and sizes, then open the teeone design tool. Upload a logo or add text, choose an available embroidery area, and position and size your design on a live visual.
You'll see the calculated price as you design, and you add the finished garments straight to your basket. The online visual is a placement guide — your design may still need technical preparation to stitch at its best.

Which clothing can be embroidered?
Embroidery works best on stable, medium-to-heavy fabrics with a valid decoration area. These are the garment families customers embroider most — each links to the live range so you can see exactly what's available.
Embroidered polo shirts: The classic choice for staff uniforms, hospitality, trades, clubs, events and customer-facing teams — a left-chest logo on a polo is the workwear standard.
Embroidered workwear: Work polos, sweatshirts, fleeces, jackets, work shirts and suitable hi-vis clothing. Durable stitched branding that survives the job site and the wash.
Embroidered jackets: Heavier outerwear carries a professional logo well, subject to the garment's construction and valid decoration areas.
Embroidered fleeces: A staple for teams working outdoors — fleece takes a stitched left-chest logo cleanly and keeps it looking sharp.
Embroidered hoodies: Popular for teamwear, clubs, staff clothing and branded casualwear. Not every hoodie position suits embroidery — the design tool shows the valid areas for each product.
Embroidered sweatshirts: Smart, hard-wearing and comfortable — ideal for uniforms, schools and clubs that want stitched branding on something warmer than a polo.
Embroidered shirts and blouses: Corporate uniforms, hospitality and events — a discreet stitched logo on a shirt or blouse gives a polished front-of-house look.
Embroidered caps and headwear: Cap decoration needs appropriate embroidery areas and can have different design restrictions from flat garments — the product page shows what each cap supports.
Embroidered aprons: Hospitality, catering and retail teams — an embroidered apron keeps branding visible and survives daily washing.
Embroidered bags: Where the live range includes compatible bags, a stitched panel logo makes durable branded kit for teams and events.
Where can a logo be embroidered?
These are common example positions — not universal options. The positions actually available depend on the product you select: each product page and the design tool show only the genuine decoration areas configured for that garment.
Example positions: Left chest, Right chest, Centre chest, Sleeve, Upper back, Full back (where technically appropriate), Cap front, Cap side, Bag panel, Apron chest.
Available positions always come from the same area configuration used by the design tool, so what you see here never disagrees with what you can actually order.
Preparing your logo for embroidery
Good source artwork helps us create a better embroidery file. Sharp-edged vector artwork (SVG, EPS, PDF, AI) is ideal; a high-resolution PNG or JPEG also works well. Upload the largest, cleanest version of your logo you have.
Thread has physical limits that ink doesn't. Very small text may not stitch clearly, thin lines may need thickening, and tiny gaps can close during stitching. Gradients can't always be recreated in thread, and highly detailed logos may need simplifying. Thread colours may also differ slightly from what you see on screen, and the embroidered size affects how much detail can be retained. Photographic artwork is usually more appropriate for printing. Background boxes are stitched too — only include one if it's intentionally part of your design.
If your design includes text or names, check spelling, capitalisation, telephone numbers, website addresses, staff names and dates carefully before ordering — we stitch exactly what you approve.
You must have the right to reproduce any logos, artwork, badges or trademarks you upload.
Not sure whether your artwork will embroider well? Use our Expert Service and the teeone team will prepare and check it for you.
- Vector files (SVG, EPS, PDF, AI) give the cleanest result

How your design becomes embroidery
An image file can't be sent straight to an embroidery machine — it first has to be translated into a stitch-based production file, a process called digitising. We review your original artwork, identify the stitchable shapes, select stitch types and directions, match suitable thread colours, adjust small details, and define the underlay and density before the design is prepared for your selected garment and position.
Because thread is a physical medium, the finished embroidery is a faithful interpretation of your artwork rather than an exact automated reproduction — that's normal for every embroidery service, and it's why very fine detail is sometimes simplified.
Steps: Review the original artwork; Identify stitchable shapes; Select stitch types and directions; Match suitable thread colours; Define underlay and density; Prepare the design for the garment and position.
How much does clothing embroidery cost?
There's no single universal embroidery price — the final cost depends on the garment you choose, the quantity, the number of embroidery positions, the size of the embroidered design, its complexity and stitch count, any personalised names or variable text, artwork preparation, Expert Service where selected, and your delivery method.
You'll see the exact applicable price as soon as you choose a product and add your personalisation — the same live pricing system used by the basket calculates everything, so what you see while designing is what you pay.
Larger quantities can reduce the effective unit cost where quantity pricing applies — the live calculator shows any applicable break automatically.
Pricing factors: The selected garment and quantity; Number of embroidery positions; Size and complexity of the design; Personalised names or variable text; Expert Service, where selected; Delivery method.

Embroidery FAQs
What is embroidered clothing?
Embroidered clothing has a design — usually a logo, crest, name or short text — stitched directly into the fabric with coloured thread, giving a raised, textured, durable finish.
Which garments can be embroidered?
Polos, fleeces, jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, shirts, workwear, caps, aprons and some bags — provided the specific product has a valid embroidery decoration area. The product page shows exactly what each garment supports.
Is embroidery suitable for company logos?
Yes — it's the standard choice for company logos on workwear and uniforms. Bold logos with solid shapes stitch best; very fine detail may need simplifying.
Can you embroider individual names?
Yes. You can add names, initials or short text in the design tool, or include them in your Expert Service instructions.
Can I order one embroidered garment?
Yes — there's no minimum order. You can order a single embroidered item, and bulk pricing applies automatically as quantities go up.
Is there a minimum order for embroidery?
No. Order one garment or hundreds — the live price is always shown before you pay.
Can every logo be embroidered?
Not exactly as drawn. Tiny text, hairline strokes, gradients and photographic detail don't translate directly into thread and may need simplifying. If in doubt, use the Expert Service and we'll advise.
What file should I upload for embroidery?
Vector artwork (SVG, EPS, PDF, AI) is ideal. A large, high-resolution PNG or JPEG also works well. Upload the cleanest version of your logo you have.
Can photographs be embroidered?
Photographs generally don't suit embroidery — thread can't reproduce photographic tones and gradients. For photographic artwork, digital printing is the better route.
How small can embroidered text be?
Very small lettering loses clarity in thread. As a rule of thumb, keep text large enough to read comfortably at arm's length; we'll flag text that's too small to stitch cleanly during preparation.
Can gradients be reproduced in embroidery?
Not reliably. Thread is solid colour, so gradients are usually simplified into stepped solid shades or reworked. Consider digital printing for gradient-heavy artwork.
Can you match my company colours?
We match your artwork to the closest available thread colours. Thread can differ slightly from on-screen and printed colours, so an exact match to a specific brand reference can't be guaranteed.
Where can my logo be embroidered?
Common positions include left chest, right chest, sleeve, upper back, cap front and apron chest — but available positions depend on the product. Each product page shows its genuine decoration areas.
Can I embroider the front and back of a garment?
Where the product supports both areas, yes — each position is priced individually and you'll see the combined price before ordering.
Is embroidery more durable than printing?
On a suitable garment, embroidery is generally very hard-wearing and resists washing well. It's not universally 'better' than printing — each method has different strengths.
How is embroidery priced?
Price depends on the garment, quantity, number of positions, design size and complexity, any names or variable text, and Expert Service where selected. The exact live price is calculated as you design, before you pay.
How long does embroidered clothing take?
It depends on current production capacity, your quantity and your delivery choice. The live production and delivery dates for your specific order are shown before checkout — we book a real production slot rather than quoting a generic turnaround.
Will I see a visual before production?
In the DIY route you position your design on a live visual in the design tool — it's a placement guide, and the stitched result is prepared from it. With the Expert Service, the teeone team prepares and checks your layout before production.
What is embroidery digitising?
Digitising converts your artwork into a stitch file the embroidery machine can sew — choosing stitch types, directions, densities and thread colours. Every embroidered design goes through it.
Can teeone prepare my artwork?
Yes — choose the Expert Service and the teeone team will prepare the layout and artwork for you, with a single charge per order shown live before you pay.
Should I choose embroidery or DTF printing?
Choose embroidery for logos, crests and text where you want a premium, durable, textured finish. Choose printing for photographic artwork, gradients, fine detail and large full-colour designs.
Can I mix embroidered and printed products in one order?
Yes — each personalised item in your basket carries its own decoration method, so you can combine embroidered and printed garments in a single order.
Can I reorder a previous embroidered design?
Yes — sign in and your saved designs and previous orders are in your account, so repeat orders use the same approved design.
