Automated artwork tools can identify many obvious problems, but some questions benefit from an experienced human review.

Expert Review adds a manual checking stage before production. A member of the teeone team looks at the information and files attached to your order and checks for issues that may affect production or the appearance of the finished garments.

The purpose of the review is to identify potential concerns early, while there is still time to discuss or correct them.

What do we check?

Depending on the products and production methods in your order, the review may include:

Artwork and file quality — We check whether the supplied artwork appears suitable for the selected production method and whether there are obvious file-quality concerns that may affect production.

Placement and sizing — We review the selected print or embroidery areas, the requested placement and the proposed artwork size for obvious problems.

Product compatibility — We check whether the selected artwork and production method appear appropriate for the garments or products in the order.

Production setup — We look for inconsistencies or missing information that may prevent the order from moving smoothly into production.

Order configuration — We review the relevant product, artwork and placement choices together rather than looking at each part of the order in isolation.

Expert Review is intended to provide an additional level of reassurance. It does not replace the customer’s responsibility to check spelling, artwork content, product choices, quantities, sizes and other order details before purchase.

How Expert Review works

1. Build your order — Choose your products, quantities, artwork, decoration methods and production slot in the usual way.

2. Add or confirm Expert Review — When you continue from the cart, we will explain whether Expert Review is available as a paid addition, included free with your order, or required for the order. You will see the current cost and review turnaround before confirming it.

3. Check the revised production dates — Expert Review adds a checking stage before production begins. If this changes your selected production or estimated delivery window, we will show you your current selected dates and the revised dates with Expert Review. You will be asked to confirm the revised dates before continuing.

4. We review your order — After your order has been placed, a member of the teeone team reviews the applicable artwork, products, placements and production information.

5. We send the outcome — We aim to send the initial outcome within 24 working hours. If everything appears suitable, the order can continue towards production. If we identify an issue, we will explain what needs attention and what happens next.

Will Expert Review delay my order?

Expert Review may move your production and estimated delivery dates because the review must be completed before the order can enter production.

Before you complete checkout, teeone will show you whether your current production slot can still be maintained.

The dates shown at checkout assume that no further action is required from you. If we ask for replacement artwork, clarification or approval, time spent waiting for your response may move the production and delivery dates again.

Important timing note: The Expert Review turnaround describes when we aim to send the initial review outcome. It is not an additional delivery guarantee.

Your final delivery timing can also be affected by: the production slot selected, the time taken to resolve any identified issues, replacement artwork or file uploads, customer response times, product availability, delivery service conditions, and other circumstances explained during checkout.

The latest dates shown and confirmed during checkout should always be treated as the relevant dates for the order.

What happens if we find a problem?

Not every issue means that an order cannot continue.

No issues identified — We have not found anything that needs your attention and the order can continue towards production.

Recommendation available — We may suggest an improvement while still allowing you to decide whether to continue with the existing setup.

Change required — We may identify an issue that should be resolved before production begins. This could involve uploading a higher-quality file, correcting artwork, confirming a placement, changing the proposed artwork size, selecting a more appropriate production method, or clarifying part of the order.

Where a response is required, production will normally remain paused until the issue has been resolved.

Who is Expert Review useful for?

Expert Review may be particularly helpful when:

You do not need to be a design or print expert to order from teeone. Expert Review simply provides an additional manual checking stage for customers who value it or for orders where the service is required.

What Expert Review does not include

Expert Review is a review service rather than a full artwork-design service.

Unless separately agreed, it does not include:

• Creating a new logo or design
• Rebuilding unsuitable artwork from scratch
• Correcting spelling or factual content on the customer’s behalf
• Confirming that the customer owns or has permission to use the artwork
• Guaranteeing an exact colour match between a screen and a finished product
• Replacing the customer’s responsibility to check the order
• Unlimited artwork revisions
• Guaranteeing that no subjective difference will exist between an expectation and the finished item

Expert Review pricing

When Expert Review is enabled, the current service price is:

£9.50

Expert Review is included free on qualifying orders with a product subtotal of at least £200.00.

The qualifying subtotal is calculated after applicable product and promotional discounts but before delivery charges, unless the checkout states otherwise.

If the order changes before payment and no longer qualifies for free Expert Review, the updated price will be shown and must be confirmed before payment.

Where Expert Review is mandatory, the service cannot be removed from an applicable order. It will still be free where the order meets the current free threshold.

We will explain the issue and tell you what is needed. Production may be paused while we wait for clarification, replacement files or approval.

Can responding slowly affect my delivery date?

Yes. The dates shown during checkout assume that the review can be completed without waiting for additional information. A delay in replying or supplying replacement artwork may move the production and delivery dates.

Does Expert Review guarantee that my order will be perfect?

Expert Review provides an additional manual check and helps identify common production concerns. It cannot guarantee subjective preferences, exact screen-to-product colour matching or issues that cannot reasonably be identified from the supplied files and order information.

Is Expert Review an artwork-design service?

No. Expert Review checks the order and identifies potential concerns. Creating or rebuilding artwork is a separate service where available.

Can I decline Expert Review?

You can decline it when the service is optional. Some orders may require Expert Review, in which case this will be explained before checkout.

Why might Expert Review be mandatory?

teeone may require a review where an order needs an additional pre-production check or where the service has been configured as mandatory for applicable orders.

Is Expert Review available free of charge?

It may be included free when your qualifying product subtotal reaches the current free-order threshold. Your cart will confirm whether your order qualifies.

What happens if my order changes after I qualify for free Expert Review?

The service will be recalculated before payment. If the revised order no longer meets the free threshold, the applicable charge will be shown and you will be asked to confirm it.

Does Expert Review check spelling?

We may notice obvious concerns, but customers remain responsible for checking all names, spelling, dates, telephone numbers, website addresses and other artwork content.

Does Expert Review include a digital proof?

Expert Review and digital proofing are separate concepts. The service includes the review steps described during checkout. A proof will only be supplied where the order workflow or a separately agreed service provides one.

Can Expert Review identify low-resolution artwork?

The reviewer will look for obvious file-quality issues that may affect production. Some limitations may only become clear during detailed production preparation, and replacement artwork may still be requested.

Will Expert Review reserve my original production slot?

The system will check whether your original slot can still be used. If it cannot, the revised available production and delivery dates will be shown before you confirm the service.

When does production begin?

Production can begin once the review has been completed, any required issues have been resolved and the order is ready for the confirmed production slot.

Can I cancel or refund Expert Review?

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on whether work on the review has begun and the status of the wider order. Customers should contact teeone as soon as possible if they need to make a change.

How will I receive the review outcome?

The outcome will be sent through the contact and order-notification methods used by teeone. Customers should ensure that their contact details are correct and monitor messages relating to the order.

Where can I see the status of my Expert Review?

Where supported, the current review status will be shown within the customer’s order information. Important updates will also be sent using the normal teeone order-notification process.
